    This is the BEST briefcase I have ever purchased. I use it to carry my laptop, iPad and work files back and forth from the office to home. My office building and parking lot are a good distance apart. I was looking for something of good quality that I could use as a briefcase with wheels to easily tote my things. This is it! It is perfect. It has a fair amount of compartments to keep things organized inside. The leather is beautiful and of very good quality. I chose the "red" color hoping that it wouldn't look cheap or cheesy; it's far from that! The color is more burgundy than red. The detail in the stitching, handles and brads really add to beauty and quality of this piece. It is possible to completely detach it from the roller base so that it can be carried by the handles. It's an easy, quick adjustment to take it off of the wheel base and put it back on. The bag itself is very sturdy, with very secure handles that can hold quite a bit of weight. The cart's had a retractable handle that extends long enough to tow the bag behind comfortably. I'm 5'8" and it's the perfect length/height to reach and pull. I even have a small umbrella tucked down inside the base (outside the briefcase) and it fits just fine. I've gotten lots of compliments and inquiries from my coworkers. It's definitely a statement piece that I look forward to carrying for a long time to come. I haven't traveled on a plane with it yet, but I ordered this size and orientation with air travel in mind. The width of this briefcase should fit easily down the airplane's aisle, and will most definitely fit in the overhead bin. I am very pleased with this purchase.

    If you lug around stuff for work this bag makes it simple and organized! I can’t say enough about how well made it is! I really put it though the test and months later it still looks brand new!
    Not to mention how eye catchingly beautiful it is! Everyone, and I mean everyone remarks how lovely it is!
    The dolly is constructed extremely well, I wondered if the wheels would hold up as I put on roughly 8 thousand steps every work day and it rolls along behind me - without fail!
    If I had ten thumbs - they would all be up!

    I used to have one of those black, ballistic nylon bags for hauling my computer, etc. around. Not only did it look like every other black bag out there, but it was *barely* narrow enough to pull down the aisle of a 737. I bought this bag to replace it and couldn't be happier. As others have noted, it's not an overnight bag (although I suppose it could be), but it's plenty big enough for what I carry - a 17" laptop, three pretty chunky file folders, a power cord, a mouse, a phone charger, a cosmetics bag, a small purse with my wallet & two phones, and a full-sized reusable water bottle. What's more, I also store a Kindle Fire, Kindle Paperwhite and a small notebook in the outside pocket.

    This is a beautiful, sturdy bag. It easily unclips from the wheeled frame - *and* comes with a rain cover. Totally worth the investment. Not to mention the fact that I have never received so many compliments on what is essentially a piece of luggage - two just this morning at Midway Airport. And it's thin enough to easily pull behind me down the aisle of a plane.
